Light and Dark

In the glistening of moonlight
I look to the stars and wonder
while I listen to the thunder

While one road leads into the night
where the raven sits branches sway
and he calls me to come this way

But the other path leads to light
a voice whispers all should be mine
in a crescent the sun does shine

So wretched is my twisted plight
one road I gaze down for miles
the other devoid of smiles

I feel as if I lost all sight
and let the voices be my guide
there is a Virgil at my side

So only one choice can be right
will I take the way of dark
or will I choose to walk in light?
