Description
The Star is a very optimistic card which stands for hope, inspiration, rebirth/renewal. Most commonly the traditional image of The Star is a woman kneeling before a pool of water pouring one chalice of water into the pool and another chalice onto the ground. I choose Brigid to represent The Star, because Brigid is considered to be a solar goddess and is associated with light, and healing, and the creation of poetry. She is also associated with the element water, as well as the element of fire. Like The Star she has very positive attributes and brings hope, and inspiration into the heart. Brigid is often depicted as being with a lamb, which is an animal that is symbolic of rebirth.

I try to be amicable, so I'ma take the opposition of 'ya critics here.
Weren't the Tuatha De Danaan larger than life in their proximity to the Fomorians? A bit... oh... giant?
Besides. Brigid is my favourite Celtic Goddess... although the Morrigan is chewing her coattails... so she should be frigging huge on the horizon.
