We breathe the same breath quivering bodies vibrations along my vertebrae transcribing secret messages beauty within the cold void which exists between us. I am your life you are my death locked within our sacred dance imploding exploding flesh and bone scattering throughout the vast unknown. Intimacy deeper than the ocean depths infinitely suspended in time hummingbird heartbeats a soundless scream in deafening silence we descend. Unbidden together swallowed surrounded shrouded inside you we devour each other serene chaos over within the blink of an eye.
Her life begins to ebb away bound by in chains by the states hour by hour; day by day Trapped inside; forced to stay to carry this burden became her fate her life begins to ebb away The only hope offered is to pray sorry and bitterness solidify into hate hour by hour; day by day All her emotions shades of gray held down by this heavy weight her life beings to ebb away All her nerves start to unfray is she could end this she would not hesitate hour by hour; day by day For their glory and power she must pay for her dreams it is too late her life beings to ebb away hour by hour; day by day
The red and the white and the blue it don’t mean a thing no more just another way to keep us down and segregated. Red for the blood of your mother, sister, brother, daughter, son they spill everyday because you were born the wrong way and don’t conform to the place they say you should stay. Blue for the gun they use to keep you down under the boot heel black your nose to the ground and you better pray the only way they say. White for the color that holds all the power and will do all that he can to make sure it stays that way. The red and the white and the blue has become the holy trinity of tyranny no freedom to found unless it is for a white man and his gun just looking for a reason to put the rest of us down.
Love lights flash at night serenades begin at sunset subtle strife for life and death Stillness masks chaos unseen wars and romances beauty hangs on dangers edge.
You assemble in your crows murder weighing the scales of our lives without reason or justice you decide our destruction poison in your hearts black are your souls dead-eyed stares toxic tongues
In looks she may be passing fair with her woven golden hair a tread as light as air her smile bright as a flare yet cleverly she sets her snare for besotted victims unaware she will offer naught but despair thus travelers beware when you come upon her passing faire.
It is fair that you wear the color of mourning for we mourn the loss of your integrity, dignity, and honor, and glibly you wear the blood of the lives you so cavalierly destroy. It is right you wear the color of mourning for you have disgraced your duty, and slaughtered our rights so smugly. It is just that you wear the color of mourning for within your courts all justice as died, and you deprived the people of there free will. But though the color of mourning suits you, you should be stripped of your robes, denied the black of your office. You should be marched through the cities clad only in your birthright and whipped as you pass those you have arrogantly denied.

Salamander dreams A clownfish out of water Of labyrinths in the clouds of carnivals in the sea Underneath the big top of the Milky Way tonight A mermaid's tale and a sailor's message in a bottle Playing on the silver screen smuggled in on the lunar tide Doing moonshine at the drive in Of a Blues Soul salvation and Rock 'n Roll As a record 45 spins on the juke box machine tonight Doing the jive, a street fighter looking for a knife fight A broken down pick up truck looking for a hit man on the hitch Caught a ride, riding shotgun Looking for a one way trip down memory lane Down the boulevard of discarded evangelists and discarded religions No Hope or Hell a rebel without a prayer Riding in the fast lane overtaking in the slow lane LA. Woman lit up in neon lights
alone I walk thru the halls of the night remembering the light elusive and bright back when I was strong and I wanted everything before the days came when I settled for nothing so alone I walk these halls of the night where the shadows fade into the unblemished sheen of darkness, my friend
I want to cut out my uterus,
I want to rip apart my insides,
Untether my fallopian tubes
And burn the eggs.
I’m drowning in this crimson nightmare,
Being stripped away from the progress I’ve made,
Thrown five years back into the hell I lived,
Reminded of the body I despise.
I want to pour my vitals out,
Open up my veins and embrace the end,
The bringer of life is slowly killing me,
This can’t be part of me…
I will kill it before it kills me!
The gushing of blood,
Involuntarily spewing out,
Sliding down my legs,
Pooling at my feet,
My head is heavy like stone
Yet lighter than air,
My guts are twisted and tangled,

The Mourning of July
Welcome to America, Land of the greed, home of the slave, The stripes of blood upon the flag, Symbol of war and genocide. Welcome to the USA, Where the guns are worshiped And mass shootings are a bore, The flashing lights of the cops Suffocate the black men, While the children take shelter under their desks. Welcome to America, The laughing stock of the world, With leaders obsessed with an old fantasy book, We are starving from the rapidly climbing inflation And suffering from the crushing weight of medical debt, While the 1% takes a vacation to the stars. Welcome to my country, I’m scared and ashamed As my basic rights continue to wither away, Will someone please save us? Today we burn the flag of lies And adorn black as we mourn, This nation was never great, Between the children in cages, To the separation of black and white, The hunting of women and girls over superstitions, And the murders of the native tribes. This is the land of hate and ignorance, Where we can’t say gay
Most welcome! I have always appreciated your work. It is too bad you are not around much. I have drifted away for a while but I am working on being around more often.
